Visa Information
Every visitor to South Africa must hold a valid passport. South Africa requires a visa for attending conferences or any event, even if the purpose is a short-term stay. The visa application should be submitted with the appropriate documentation and fees, including a letter of invitation from the conference organisers.
The below is only a guideline on visa applications and may differ from country to country and we strongly recommend to contact your travel agent or nearest South African diplomatic or consular representative for the most recent and accurate information.
More information is available on the South African Home Affairs website and VFS Global.
